IEUM runs on Saju: Korean astrology, read for over a thousand years and also known as the Four Pillars of Destiny. Your birth date maps onto five elements and twelve animals, giving you one of 60 signs, like a Green Rat or a Blue Pig. Your sign changes every day, not every month, so even friends born in the same year usually get different ones.
When your group joins, every pair gets a score, a grade from Soulmates to Train Wreck, and a short story about how the two of you work. A lens for the group chat, not a verdict.

Do I need to know my exact birth time?+
No. Birth time adds a bit of precision, but the date alone gives you your sign and all scores.
What happens to my birth information?+
It is only used to calculate results within your group. No accounts, no marketing lists, and a nickname is fine.
Is this the same as Western astrology?+
